Jember — MI Ar-Roudhoh, through its International Class Program (ICP), held a farewell event titled “Farewell Session for Miss Sena” for Miss Sena, a native speaker from Türkiye. The event was attended by first and second-grade ICP students with great enthusiasm and a touch of emotion.
During the event, the students presented various engaging performances, such as a traditional Papuan dance, sharing messages and reflections in English, and several other acts that made the atmosphere even more lively and memorable. The children appeared confident in demonstrating the English language skills they had been learning alongside Miss Sena.
For approximately six weeks, Miss Sena guided ICP students in practicing spoken English. Her friendly, smiling, and enthusiastic demeanor made the children feel close to her and at ease, both during lessons and outside of class hours.
A touching atmosphere filled the room during the farewell session. Many students looked sad at having to part ways with the teacher who had provided them with such a fun and memorable learning experience. As a token of gratitude, the children also presented Miss Sena with a gift at the end of the event.
Through this experience, the students of ICP MI Ar-Roudhoh hope that one day they will have the opportunity to visit Türkiye, whether to study or simply to experience the culture and atmosphere of Miss Sena’s home country.
